Ryan Flannagan - Following high school, Ryan went on to obtain an undergraduate degree from the University of Windsor and a graduate degree from the University of Waterloo. Both degrees were in political science. After university, Ryan found employment with the federal public service. Currently, Ryan is the manager of Addictions Programs within the First Nations and Inuit Health Branch of Health Canada. Ryan has also worked at Indian and Northern Affairs Canada, Indian Residential Schools Resolution Canada, and the Privy Council Office. Mark Peltier -Mark writes. After graduation, I attended Cambrian College in Sudbury where I graduated from the Fitness & Leisure Management Program. After leading several cross country running and track & field teams to NOSSA and OFSAA while at WFSS, I continued my distance running into my college years where I lead Cambrian College to back-to-back OCAA gold medals in cross country running. After receiving my diploma at Cambrian, I became a certified professional fitness trainer and was a top trainer for the world's largest fitness company, Bally Total Fitness, in Toronto.
After several years of the fast paced city life, I moved back to my quiet hometown of Wikwemikong on Manitoulin Island, where I now work for Recreation. Over the years I've still maintained my passion for hockey and I currently play for a team called the Wiky Reds (www.wikyreds.ca). I can not say the same for my distance running though. Carrying around an extra 50 lbs will slow anyone down.
I now share my life with my beautiful partner Dawn, her son Peirce, and our 1 year old son Julian.

Allison Zadorozny - After spending a few years in Eastern and Southern Ontario, Allison has come back to North Bay to work as an executive for Lynn Johnston Productions Inc-Licensing Division. Jennifer (Calverley) Wraight - "I moved back to Ontario after teaching in Nunavut for a year, and 2 weeks later ran into Todd Wraight, who was my first boyfriend in high school. We married a little over a year later. I now have a home full of testosterone with 3 step sons full time, although I am simply mom to the youngest two, we are quite close. In September 2005 we all welcomed Quinn to the bunch, a healthy baby boy. His brothers adore him and play with him constantly, they rarely leave him alone. So, our household is now complete and is a busy one with school, swimming lessons, dogs and guinea pigs! In the summer we spend a lot of time around the pool, going to soccer, and this summer there is hockey camp and flag football....maybe artsperience too. Jean-Paul Brander - Paul graduated from WFSS in 1988 and went directly to Humber College in Toronto to study Architectural Design. In 1989 Paul started his own Construction Company - Brander Construction and specialized in new home construction. In May 1990 - Paul married his high school sweetheart Kim (nee Aelick and also a graduate of WFSS in 1998) and they now have 2 boys, Clayton born in '92 and Ryan born in '94. In 1994 Paul completed construction of the Mattawa Medical Centre and started construction on his 8th new home. In 1996 Paul, Kim and their family left for Angola, Africa where Paul was the Program Director for Mission Aviation Fellowship. Sergeant Norm Hughes -joined the Canadian Forces in 1988 as a Medical Assitant. After postings to the National Defence Medical Centre in Ottawa, 2 Field Ambulance and 1 Canadian Field Hospital in Petawawa, Ontario, he remustered into the Public Health field and became a Preventive Medicine Technician.

He has since completed overseas tours in Bosnia as part of the 3rd Battalion the Royal Canadian Regiment Battle Group, as part of Operation Apollo in which he aided the return of soldiers and equipment from Afghanistan and most recently Operation Halo, Haiti, with the 2nd Battalion the Royal Canadian Regiment.

He is currently employed as the Senior Preventive Medicine Technician at 33 Canadian Forces Health Services Centre, CFB Kingston, Ontario, where he lives with his beautiful wife Cindy and their two beautiful daughters Keeli and Jara.

Laura Graham - graduated from University of Guelph with a BSc in Zoology and after working at the African Lion Safari did a MSc at U of Guelph. on the reproductive endocrinology of big cats essentially developing a "home pregnancy test" for cat species. Sherry Leboeuf [Hughes] - Sherry writes "I would have graduated in 1980 but transferred to Almaguin Highlands Secondary School; where I graduated in 1980; then enrolled in Canadore College and graduated from there with a diploma in the Business Administration Three Year Accounting Program in 1985. I then left and went out West to Alberta where I spent one year working in Banff and Calgary. I then returned to Ontario to reside in Toronto where I lived for a couple of years before returning to my home town of Callander. I also spent some time over seas in England and Holland as well. In Callander in the fall of 1991 I met my husband Victor LeBoeuf. We are the proud parents of two wonderful and very active teenagers. Christine Davis [Hunt] - Chris attended Canadore College in the Executive Secretarial Program,and graduated in 1981. After stints at Bell Canada and National Frontier Insurance Company in North Bay, she was fortunate to be one of the first employees hired at 840 CHUR Radio- North Bay in 1986. After five fantastic years on the media scene in North Bay, she was wisked away by a Widdifield Wildcat (go figure) by the name of Don Davis. They married in 1991 and went to Germany for three years and there had their son Sean (now 11). After five years in Petawawa, ON they were fortunate to be posted back to North Bay, arriving 1999. Dan Johnstone -After graduating in 76 Dan went to U of T and obtained a B.Comm. Then he moved to Calgary for 5 years, followed by London England, Saudi Arabia and Russia. He has now returned to Canada and lives in Woodbridge where Dan runs a Kwik Kopy print franchise in Richmond Hill. Along the way Dan learned to fly airplanes, Scuba Dive and a few other things. It took a long time he says and finally found a phenomenal girl in Russia who was willing to marry him. Dan now has two beautiful daughters (in Mar 2005 one is 9 months and the other 6 years old). Peter Gerrie - Since leaving West Ferris in 1973 (or 1972), Peter has enjoyed a career in the entertainment industry. He began building scenery for film and theatre in Toronto, Calgary and Edmonton which led him to a seventeen year position with the University of Alberta teaching technical theatre techniques. Peter began to specialize in theatre & concert safety while practicing the craft of concert rigging with the worlds top suppliers of concert equipment. A new family and second wife have slowed the pace, keeping Peter at home with Cheryl, son Liam (13), daughter Brienne (11) and step daughter Jennifer (11). With the opening of a new Concert Hall in 1997, Peter became the Production Manager, responsible for providing state of the art services to a list of international clients. The Concert Hall is used for live performance, recording and film location, hosting rock, country, jazz and world music as well as the classical variations. Barry Lachance - After graduation Barry attended Canadore College in the Rec Leadership program. He worked at the Indian Friendship Center in North Bay as the Rec coordinator for 2 yrs .Barry married Wendy (Bury) in 1974 and have one son Dan (now 29)and one granddaughter 1yr old

Barry worked at Mikes Milk for a few yrs. Then went in to the Cadet Training System as Land-Ops-Training coordinator till 1986 He went back to school and got his culinary arts and chef papers from Canadore Collage. Barry cooked at the City Jail for 2 yrs and then took a position at North Bay General Hospital as their Chef until 1995 when they closed the kitchens. Barry now works at the hospital as the linen coordinator. With only 3yrs until he retires, Barry will not see the new hospital as an employee Barry is still teaching Cadets and will receive the CD2 this April

Rob Paterson - has lived and worked all of his life in North Bay. After graduation he joined the family plumbing and heating business F.R. Paterson Ltd. In 1980 Rob changed careers and joined the General Insurance Business as a Producer. Rob Retired in 1996 and spent the time raising his daughter Sarah. In 2001 Rob rejoined the insurance business with Martin's Canada BrokerLink (" too young for retirement" he writes) and is enjoying life. Rob is single and Sarah is a beautiful young lady who enjoys riding with her father on his latest toy. (see picture)
